Its nice to see a measured opinion. I think people want it to be good to such an extent that they aren't willing to accept that the current team is creatively bankrupt. Its not like they've got a new team of writers in since SL and the start of DF screams to me that they have run dry in the ideas department.Warcraft lore is very vast and as a result of that, very disconnected in it's medium. The vast majority of important events happen in books and RTS. While pretty big, the MMO (in my personal opinon) brings the least lore out of all mediums. If you are completely new to the lore, I'd suggest playing Warcraft RTS first and foremost.
