Then in March I started looking at the Ranger’s “problem” again. Bit the dust and got a new fuel pump assembly. Got all the old fuel out, thoroughly wiped down and cleaned the fuel tank, installed a new fuel pump assembly, added fresh fuel, and VOILA! The Ranger started up like nothing had ever happened.
