I had a LR4 preordered. Cancelled my preorder because of all the complaints. Bought (another) LR3, a extra sensor, followed the guide to protect the IC. Never had issues with my LR3 until 2.5 years later when the sensors wear out. it's a shame that the litter robot seemingly went backwards in reliability from LR3 > LR4.
