Bloodhound's Finesse is better for mobs and fast targets though, and the Fang can be buffed with magic and greases. So I guess it also depends on what you're fighting. And of course, any status build (like powerstance bleed/frost twinblades or curved swords) will do way more damage on enemies that aren't resistant to it than either option.
